End of Semester = Good Reads

<

I find that cover to be incredibly funny~ I guess you kind of have to know a thing or two about the Princess Bride to find the line “The ‘Good Parts’ Version” to be funny…or maybe you have to be someone who laughs at everything…Like me.

:D Anyway. I picked up this book yesterday after getting ice cream (Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s!) with Kaitlin and Justina. I didn’t plan on spending money, but after eating our delicious FREE cones (did I mention they were free?) and running into a few people in Rittenhouse Square (we saw Tyler twice), Justina decided she needed to use the lav. So what better place to free your mind (and bladder) than Barnes & Noble? (Narnes & Boble, according to Lauren.)

So while Justina went to relieve herself, Kaitlin and I started poking through the magazines. We were reveling over (okay, I was reveling) over the anime magazines, though I said I wouldn’t buy one. (I didn’t.) Kaitlin jokingly suggested that I get the last issue of Newtype (yes, the February issue), and so we ended up discussing why they went out of print. Kaitlin says that they say that it’s not because of the FREE goodies that come with the magazine (though you know, you really ARE paying for those FREE DVDs).

Then I thought about the books I said I wanted to read (the list is at least a mile long). So we went on the hunt for The Princess Bride. Of course…we were hindered by multiple things including manga, other awesome novels, and…Spark Notes. (Hahaha) Not for their “proper” use either!

Long story curtailed, I bought The Princess Bride…and started reading it…and now I’m confused.

I need to hurry up and read this, though, before I start Texts & Contexts… :|

Printing Love

Hey! Look! I figured out how to do borderless printing!

I LOVE my photo printer. Now I can have full size 13″ x 19″ prints!

Where Is It?

<

I’m working on my art history timeline project and I’m using Jackson Pollock as an example for Abstract Expressionism… I’m using his piece Number 1, 1950 (Lavender Mist), and I could have sworn I saw it at the PMA, but the PMA doesn’t have it listed…

D: I guess I’ll just have to put down what the book says.

Hmm

I got my bill for summer I.

Through email.

:| Really, now.

Pennsylvania Primary

While walking to Gershman to get to my 2-D class, I ran into a girl who asked cheerfully, “Are you here to vote?!” I just looked at her and said, “Uh…no… I’m here for class.” Disappointedly, she said, “oh,” and diverted her attention to someone else. Besides, even if I wanted to vote, I couldn’t. I’m not registered in the state of Pennsylvania. In fact, I’m not registered period.

While walking from Utrecht to Staples, Kait and I ran into some news vans. I use the word “some” loosely.

Okay, ready? Count:
