Almost Over!

<

I just realized how anxious I am to get out of Foundation. It’s been fun, guys, but I’m starting to go insane. I’ve been locking myself inside of my room (I say that loosely seeing as there are no DOORS to actually lock myself inside), bringing snacks and drinks up here, positioning myself in front of my laptop like one of those 9-5 office workers that never leave their cubicle, working on nothing but

SCHOOL WORK.

Next year is going to be even worse, but I’m not going to have to super glue things together, paint until my skin turns an abnormal shade of turquoise, pink, lemon, and wisteria, draw until my eyes turn into spheres covered in cross contours, and better yet - NO MORE MASONITE/WOOD/PLASTER/ALABASTER/ALGINATE!

No doubt I’m going to miss the foundation staff I’ve come to know and love — Mr. Rossman, Mr. Shaver, Ms. Brown, Ms. Johnson, Mr. Rapone (even though I didn’t have the guy!), Mr. Reinfurt…

But it’s time to go! I have April & May left, omg! Tomorrow Kait and I are going to the graphic design advising session together, Tuesday we’re going to the illustration advising session, but not together. =X I can’t wait! I can’t wait!

Happy birthday Justina!!

And for your viewing pleasure, the last piece in my current 2-D project series:

Lack of CONNECTIVITY

<

:\ Ummm, I’m without the Intarwebz for a couple of days at home (which is where I do most of my posting), so… I’ll post when I get back on the Internets? \:D/

Actually, it should be by tomorrow morning that I get hooked back up. :D

Music Project

I am having way too much fun with this:

The Deceased at UArts

<

When our fellow classmates at UArts become deceased, we use them for demos in Ms. Johnson’s 3-D class. This demo is dubbed THE NIKKI DEMO. (Please note: Nikki is not dead, nor has she ever been, but she really was used for demonstration purposes in Ms. Johnson’s 3-D class today.)

Breathe, Nikki, breathe!

Eric and his concoctions. *Sigh* (It’s just plaster, but still.)

Ms. Dr. Johnson comes in to inspect the work her minions students are doing.

Eric makes sure the concoction plaster is ready.

Cover EVERYTHING!

Might as well strike a pose next to the masterpiece that is Nikki’s face. :)

“She lives,” hollers Dr. Johnson, “Quick, hold your face! O_O”

“Where are you going with my face?!”

:| The end~

Or is it?

COLORS

<

When it was mentioned we’d be doing a music project in 2-D, I got real excited and I immediately got an idea.

Only to find out my idea was defeated by what was expected.

So I start the project.

And end up doing more than I had to in one sitting, but I really like what I have.

Anyone familiar with Utada Hikaru and her musical work will recognize the figure. Hooray for vector art!
