After we met up with Ben and Kait, we went out to 10th St. and walked toward the arch. I pointed out to Ben that it was yellow. He said it was always yellow. I said it was always red. The truth is… I don’t remember what color it was before they repainted it. XD Sad, considering I’ve been going there since I was little. Anyway, we walked in the rain (it was mild) to Pho 75. There are now three locations in Philly! :D We sit down and look at the menu. All of us have eaten there before except for Jamie, so Jamie was looking at the menu, confused. XD I told her, since she doesn’t have a tongue for a lot of things, to go for either the beefball pho or the chicken pho.
A few minutes after we were done ordering, guess who walks in? NUREFSAN! Yay! She found us! Oh it was so nice. The only problem was since she didn’t eat meat (she’s a Muslim), she really couldn’t order anything except for the drinks and dessert. So she ordered a fresh lemon soda and a
dessert drink (jelly squares and tapioca pearls in a pink sauce with coconut milk). We had fun talking and laughing. Ben was most amusing. When you order pho at a pho restaurant, you often times get a dish with vegetables on it. (Bean sprouts, limes, and basil leaves.) Well, of course we devoured the limes. I took one, Lauren took one, and Kait took one. Ben took all three. XD So Ben and I are the same in where we take the lime, squeeze the juice out into the soup, then toss the remaining peel into the soup as well. Well… Apparently three wasn’t enough for him so he asked for more limes. XD The server came out with a bowl of two whole limes, cut into quarters. We all laughed at Ben for that.
So here it was, the full Asian (Ben), the two half Asians (Kait and me), the black “Asian” (Lauren), the Turk (Nuri), and…Jamie. XD Kait and Jamie ate with forks, while the rest of us (minus Nuri) ate with chopsticks. :3 Fun.
When we were done, we went to pay and got separate bills. This old, random Vietnamese man comes up behind us and yells, “DID YOU LEAVE A TIP?!” >> It was so random. I don’t think we did. We forgot, it wasn’t intentional. Anyway, we left and Lauren and Nuri walked straight while we turned the corner to get back on Tenth. I had wanted to stop at this Chinese media store, but Jamie, Ben, and Kait had to go to class. They were running late (five minutes to get to Terra and Anderson), but they insisted on going in the store with me. (I don’t have class until 5:30 on Thursdays.) I told them that they were already late, but they wouldn’t listen, saying it didn’t matter. So we went in and I went ballistic when I found the Japanese import section. (It’s not even worthy of being called a section…it was just a small cardboard box with CDs in it. xD) I pulled out the following:

L’Arc~en~Ciel - SMILE

Kingdom Hearts II Original Soundtrack

Neon Genesis Evangelion: DECADE
Two soundtracks and an album. AWESOME. Cost me $42, roughly, but it was worth it. The NGE soundtrack and the L’Arc~en~Ciel album were $12 each (cheap for import albums!) and the KHII OST was $24 because it was a double disc soundtrack. ^__^ I may go back some other time and get another soundtrack, since that’s pretty much all they have left. OSTs from NARUTO, Samurai Champloo, etc. I would LOVE to see an OST from Revolutionary Girl Utena. Sweet, sweet nineteen blues…Tada sugite yukuyo de kitto minitsuite yukumono~ SWEET,SWEET 19 DREAMS~ RIZUMU AN DOBURUSU marude mainichi no youna SUTAIRU…
