Cheers to the good ol’ days

<

As i sit on the front steps of Hamilton, flashbacks of the past two years at UArts come to mind as i watch the new freshman run to class with their huge black portfolios. Man, those portfolios, you think its hard to carry them now, just wait till the wind tunnels of winter come swooping by. Man… good times.

CHEERS to the big freshman portfolios, man am i glad not to have to carry them around anymore. Always made things very interesting on the elevators. (Especially the ruler that never seemed to fit inside and would poke strangers.)

CHEERS to the first nights in Philly when you realize that everything closes at 8pm. (yeah i know-i dont get it either)

CHEERS to the dorms, especially Furness “North side!” where human bowling and water fights were a regular occurrence. (oh-and cheers to Wilber, the mouse, and George, the ghost)

CHEERS also to all of the objects that fell or were thrown out the window in Furness that ended up being stuck on the sculpture studios roof forever, including flip flip-flops, a cell phone, and a pumpkin.

CHEERS to all the crazy roommates stories, that at the time seem overwhelming, but soon they will become awesome stories that are always good to laugh about later.
Believe me you will.

CHEERS to all of the cuts that were made by exacto blades in that first year, it you make it out of Foundation without one, i congratulate you, you might be the first.

CHEERS to finally entering your major and making it out of the Third floor in anderson still
standing.

and lastly, after two years at UArts,

CHEERS to the times that are to come, a new year, a new studio, new classes, a new start. YEAH BOY!

Welcome back to school surprise.

SCULPTURE STUDIO BLISS! The day finally arrived where i officially received a key to my own studio, yeah dude!!! ive been waiting for one since freshman year, and that day finally came. can i hear a “whoop whoop!”

First day of class went very smoothly, except for one little extra gift that my house decided to give me this morning….

Somehow the fireplace in my bedroom collapsed. i dont know how and why. However, i do know that i found an old newspaper that might be from the 1920’s and plenty of bricks.(if anyone wants to build a patio)
