Okay, so this is my final post for this year. I’m trying to see if I can do the journals again next year, but we’ll see. All of my finals went fairly smoothly, didn’t sleep through any and apparently did fairly well on them. My final GPA ended up being a 3.5. It’s not the best I could do, but next year I’ll just work on doing better!

 

I’ve been home for about 2 weeks now. I’ve got to see a lot of friends and it’s nice to take a break from school work. My schedule for High School Musical is really heavy already and I have to find a summer job, so I’m sure that by the end of the summer I’ll be begging to go back to UArts.

Cast Lists for the Fall Semester were sent out by email today. It turns out I was cast in DPCM Pageant as Bunny. I’m excited to finally be on the stage of the school that I love! :)

It’s 2:45 AM and Devon and I are scrambling to get the last minute things of a final project done for Script Analysis. The past week has been ridiculously hectic between call backs and finals. The call backs went alright. My advice to any acting/MT students next year: DO NOT AUDITION LATE ON WEDNESDAY. AUDITION ON MONDAY OR TUESDAY. That way, you won’t be last to be called back. All of my call backs were around 10 at night and the directors just seem stressed and tired by the time I went in. So, now I know and will not audition at 10:45PM on Wednesday. So, I’ve been working on finals. We had our Freshman Scene Showcase today in Studio 703. It went really well. The rest of my finals are this week, then I’m going home on Saturday, back to good ole’ Syracuse. It’s scary how quickly freshman year went by and I know it’s only going to go faster.

 

I’ve got to finish my project. I leave you with this video from my high school “show choir.” The good news is: I’ve improved a lot since high school and so will you.

If you’re wondering which one I am, I’m wearing the Robin costume and I do the toe touch in the beginning. Don’t ask me why I wore that costume.
