it is time. time for the big “summer” entry.
i’ve gone back to work to frolic with the butterflies, and things have been great since may. my boss asked me to paint another mural, so that occupied a good week and a half of my time. since then, i’ve been taking in shipments of chrysalises, giving tours to the masses, educating the known universe about lepidoptery (the science of butterflies), and last friday, i was even interviewed by the philly inquirer! granted, it’s for the chester county section…but still. inquirer!!
i’d taken 3 weeks out from the 25th of june to the 15th of july for vacation, and oh my goodness…i had the best 3 weeks of my life. the first week was spent in ireland, where my parents and i stayed with family and visited the sights and all of that good stuff. my aunt and uncle came along as well, so it was a particularly special trip–my third to ireland. hooray for county galway!

the following two weeks were spent in london, visiting a very special person, and having a very special time. we went camping on the isle of wight, we got to see the summer exhibition at the royal academy (!!), hampton court palace, the london butterfly house, and so. much. more. i just enjoyed myself right up until the very end. *many sighs*

yeah, i could go on for ages, but i’ll stop there. even i have limits, and the photos can just speak for themselves.
i will leave you with two parting notes, however:
a) have fun/good luck preparing for school to start again, and
b) here i am as a simpson:
