The multimedia department has this trip to New York that they sponser once a semester. Its free and you just get to walk around the city and have some fun with your friends. Mostly me and the kids I was with stayed around the west side of the city near all these art gallerys. We also ate lunch and dinner in the city. We went to this little pizza place which had really big slices of pizza. The bus ride was probably the worst part, we got stuck in traffic coming from Philly, and on the way back to Philly which added almost an hour each way.

All in all it was a good day. Also the trip is open to anyone, not just multimedia, so next time everyone should sign up. On the other side of things homework is getting intense, I get a good 6 hours of homework a night. I know alot of kids that are already falling behind because they think parting is more important than school. Don’t let that happen to you kids.

Yoooo. So I guess its time for another entry so here goes. Here at UARTs I’m rooming in Furness room 3K which is on the south side of Furness. Don’t get me wrong, you hear some bad things about Furness, and most of them are true. It is really hot, there are mice, and the rooms don’t have the same style that the other buildings have, but you know what we do have…PEOPLE. EVERYONE in Furness is amazing. Were all so friendly and always know how to have a good time, thats why people from Spruce, Pine and Juniper come to Furness to hang out with us.

Also who else has toga parties besides Furness, thats right, NO ONE.

Sorry for the major delay with getting a post up. I’ve been busy with class but now I finally have internet in my room. Oh shoot. I guess I should start by introducing myself, I’m Jeff hailing from the great state of Massachusetts, Stoughton to be exact. We commonly refer to it as “TOUGHTOWN” because you can’t spell sTOUGHtown without tough. Were pretty bad a** I swear.

So yah, orientation was great. There were so many activities to have fun and just meet new people, but honestly you meet even more people once you start class. So far my classes have been amazing. Its everything I wanted it to be and more. If you interested in web design at all, take Visual Communications studio because it will change your life.
